Character Bios

In the Anime Queen Beryl was shown mostly on her thrown in the Dark Kingdom. She had a crystal ball, which she used to watch people. She liked Mamoru, and turned him evil. Right before the final battle with Sailormoon, Beryl went to Metallia, and begged for her to power her up. Metallia took control over Beryls body, and they both died when Sailormoon killed them, using the Silver Crystal.

In the Manga she was shown as a mortal. She was living on the planet Earth, but was taken over by an evil entity (Queen Metallia). Beryl then started fighting against the Moon Kingdom, along with other Earthlings (they were jealous of the long lives of the members of the Moon Kingdom, and were being controlled by Metalia). Beryl liked Prince Endymion, but became jealous over his love with Princess Serenity, and killed him with a sword. She was killed by Sailorvenus.

Other: Nephrite was the second general. He believed that everything was ruled by the stars. While on Earth he disguised himself as Maxfield Stanton (Sanjouin Masato), and he drives a red Ferrari. He also falls in love with Molly/Naru. He is killed by Zoicite's youma

Other: In the Japanese Anime, Zoicite was a guy and in love with Malachite. In the English Anime, Zoicite was a women and in love with Malachite. In the Manga, Zoicite was a man, but was NOT in love with Malachite, instead HE was in love with Mercury/Ami. Zoicite was the third General to appear. Zoicite's job was to collect the Rainbow Crystals (Ninzuishou). Zoicite was killed by Queen Beryl after disobeying her orders, and attempting to kill Tuxedo Mask.

Other: In both the English and Japanese Anime Kunzite/Malachite is in love with Zoicite/Zoycite. In the Manga they are not. Kunzite is considered the leader of the Four Generals. He was the last one of them to appear. He is often silent and calm. He died when he used his blade attack against Sailor Moon, and it was flung back at him.

Clothes: Wiseman wears a black robe over his skeletal body. The Robe hangs over his head and feet, only his hands can be seen. He also carries a black crystal ball with him, that he uses to make his predictions and to send out energy blasts.

Death: Anime: In the Anime Wiseman was killed, after his transformation into the Death Phantom, when he was attacked by Sailor Moon, Chibi-usa (Rini), Tuxedo Kamen (Mask) and the Senshi. The power of both the present and the future Silver Crystals were able to destroy Wiseman/Death Phantom, the Black Crystal and the Black (Dark) Gate., Manga: Wiseman, the Death Phantom's body, was released from the Death Phantom's control [the Death Phantom released it in order to show his true form] after Prince Demando blasted him with light. Wiseman, now in the form of the Death Phantom, was killed by the combination attack of Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibimoon. [Moon Princess Halation]

Other: Wiseman first possed as Prince Demando's adviser. Demando was soon under his complete control. The only member of the Black Moon Family that never fully trusted him was Safiru (Sapphire). Wiseman was able to convince the Black Moon Family to travel back in time and try to rewrite history, in order to get revenge on the people of Earth. He was also able to convince Chibi-usa that she was unwanted and expose her to the power of the Black Crystal, which turned her into Black (Wicked) Lady. Once the Black Gate was opened Wiseman was able to show his true form, the Death Phantom.

Clothes: Demando wears a white pants-suit with light & dark blue scroll work decorations. His jacket has one diamond button on the collar. He has white boots with black trim and diamond earrings. He also wears a black cape with pruple lining.

Other: Demando wishes to get revenge on the people of Earth. He follows the advice of Wiseman, hoping to accomplish his wish. Demando is able to hypnotize people with his third eye, which appears upon command in the middle of his forehead. In the anime Demando attacks Wiseman after Wiseman kills his brother, Safiru. Before his death from Wiseman's attack, Demando tells Sailormoon that he regrets his actions. In the Manga Demando dies after trying to unite the two Silver Crystals, when Sailormoon and Tuxedo Kamen (Mask) attack him.

Clothes: Safiru wears a navy blue jacket with one jewel button on his collar. The jacket has white colored retangular shaped decorations. Safiru wears white pants and boots. He also has on navy blue gloves.

Other: Safiru is loyal to his older brother, Demando, however he questions Wiseman's authority, which leads to his death in the Anime. Safiru creates small crystal figurines for Esmeraude (Emerald) that spreads evil energy. Safiru becomes injured in a fight with Wiseman and flees to the Earth, where he meets with Petz. Petz treats his wounds and cares for him. Safiru then tries to find Demando and warn him of Wiseman's betrayal, but he is killed by Wiseman. It is then that Demando realizes that Wiseman is not on his side. In the Manga Safiru attacks Demando after putting on a Black Crystal earring, that is filled with Wiseman's evil power. Demando then kills his brother, Safiru.

Clothes: Rubeus wears a brown leather vest and black leather boots. In the Manga he wears army colored (light green, brown & dark green) pants and carries an army colored jacket. In the Anime he wears dark green pants and carries a dark green jacket. Rubeus also wears a pendant necklace and black crystal earrings.

Other: Rubeus is sent by Prince Demando to the present day city of Tokyo. He's job is to capture Chibi-usa, who escaped into the past, and the Silver Crystal that she carries. He is the leader of the four sisters, Cooan (Catzy), Beruche (Bertie), Petz (Prisma), and Calaveras (Avery). He uses the four sisters, and doesn't care whether they live or not. He uses Catzy's love for him to his own advantage. He also has the job of gaining control of the crystal points. He dies when is ship is destroyed, after he attempted to blow up the Senshi. Esmeraude appears right before he dies, but refuses to help him.

Clothes: Esmeraude wears a mid-thigh length tight dark green dress and knee-length dark green boots. She wears a necklace with three emerald pendants and a crescent moon. She also has on an emerald bracelet (on right hand), black crystal earrings and often carries a red feather fan.

Other: Esmeraude takes over after Rubeus' death. Her job is to take the small statues that Safiru created for her and place them at certain points in Tokyo, which will open the Black Gate. Esmeraude and Safiru don't get along very well. Esmeraude has a very loud voice and has a very high opinion of herself. She is in love with Prince Demando and is jealous of his obsession with Neo Queen Serenity. In the Anime Esmeraude asks Wiseman to give her more power, which he does. However, the evil power turns her into a dragon and she is killed after Tuxedo Kamen throws a rose into the center of the dragon's crown and Sailormoon uses her attack to destroy Esmeraude.

Clothes: She wears a pink and purple stripped leotard. She wears a purple feathered tutu over it. She has purple high heals and a purplr choker. On her chocker she has a blackish purple rose crosage. Her finger nails are purple, and she wears a purple ring on her middle finger. She wears black diamond shaped earrings, and has a purple diamond shaped medallion on her head.

Clothes: She wears a strapless leotard, thats looks almost like armor. It is gold/orange in color. She has a short skirt/tutu that is dark orange/red. She wears two long gold bracelets. She wears something similar to a red choker around her neck, but it is more loose, and has a gold medallion in the middle. She wears shin leangth orange boots, and a gold/orange bow in her hair. She also has black diamond shaped earrings.

Clothes: She wears a short strapless dark geen dress, over dark green tights. She has a green belt/sash over her dress with a gold buckle. She has elbow length dark green gloves, and a greanish ring. She wears ankle boots that are bliackish-green, with green and gray buckle. She wears a black feathered shoulder pads, that cover just her shoulders (Anime), and go down to her mid-back in the manga. She also wears back diammond shaped earrings.

Other: Wants to be in control, and attacked Calaveras once. Petz even attemps to sacrifice her own life to save the others. She often acts as thugh she dislikes men, but she does have a crush on Safiru (Sapphire)

Job: As a member of the Death Busters, Tomoe has to create Daimon in his laboratory. He is also the owner of Mugen Gauken Academy (Mugen High School) and works as a Professor, Teacher, and Genetic Engineer. The School has been open for three years, and is destroyed at the end of the series.

Other: Professor Tomoe became a part of the Death Busters, when Hotaru was little. He was in his lab, along with Hotaru and a few other scientists, when an experiment went wrong and blew up, killing Hotaru. An evil entity appeared and told the professor that Hotaru could come back to life if he became a part of the Death Busters, Tomoe agreed and a Daimon was placed in his body, making him evil. At the end of the series his Daimon is destroyed and he begins a new life with the reborn Hotaru

Other: Kaolinite first started collecting Pure Heart Crystals, but was thought to be killed when she fell off of a roof during a battle. She was later found working at Tomoe's house. After her first "death" Kaolinite seems a little quiet. She also appears to be very nosey, and often spies on Hotaru. She is later killed by Mistress 9.

Other: Eudial was the first of the Witches 5 shown. She took over after Kaolinite. Eudial found out that Uranus and Neptune had the Talismans, and took them, but later she lost them to the Senshi. Eudial drove a station wagon, and took out heart crystals with a gun. Eudial was killed when Mimete destroyed the brakes in her station wagon. Mimete left a note saying the Snail Woman would die, and she left a bunch of snails.

Other: Mimete is a little hyper, and seems to be the youngest of the witches. She killed Eudial. Mimete uses daimons that take the heart crystals out of her victims. Mimete was killed when she used a machine that Eudial built to make herself more powerful. Tellu came along and pulled the plug, and killed Mimete.

Other: Tellu took over after she killed Mimete. She opened a plantshop, and sold plants called tellurians (Tellulu Flowers). She said that they did not need fertilizer or water, and they were not expensive. The plants really took the heart crystals/attacked people who had them. Tellu died when one of her plants attacked her.

Other: Cyprine and Ptilol are twins and are considered one witch. Ptilol is the one with the red hair, and Cyprine has blue hair. Cyprine is the main twin witch, Ptilol is her shadow, and comes out when they fight the Senshi. The twins took over after Viluy. They were killed after their attacks were turned against each other.

Other: Mistress 9 is an entity that lives inside of Hotaru. She is called the Dark Messiah (Soverign of Silence). She is awakened by Sailor Chibi Moon's Pure Heart Crystal. Mistress 9 is very powerful and kills Kaolinite. Mistress 9's job is to find the Holy Grail to fully awaken the Death Buster's leader, Pharaoh 90. She is killed by Sailor Saturn/Hotaru.

Other: Pharaoh 90 is the leader of the Death Busters. It needs the Holy Grail to awaken and gain enough power to destroy/take over the world. Pharaoh 90 comes from the Tau Star System (Tau Ceti Nebula). Pharaoh 90 is destroyed when Sailor Saturn uses her full power on it by giving up her life.

Other: Nehelenia's mission is to find the Golden Crystal that the Priest Elios (Helios) has, so she can take over the world. She comes from the Dead Moon, and is very angry. She cannot stand people looking at her with sympathy, and inside she is really lonely.

History: Nehelenia first appears in SuperS, and is last seen in Stars. She was the ruler of her kingdom (the Dead Moon) since she was little. She was a very beautiful ruler, and the people of her kingdom were very devouted to her and her beauty. Her job was stressful and lonely, and soon the only friend she had was her own reflection. She came to believe that she had to continue being beautiful, or else she would lose the people of her kingdom, and her one friend (her own reflection).

One day she asked her mirror what she would look like when she was older, disgusted with the image it showed her (an old ugly women, similar to Zirconia) she decided that she could never let that happen. She found out that if she took people's Dream Mirrors (their pure dreams) she could stay young. She stole all the Dream Mirrors from the people of her court, turning them into odd looking creatures called Lemures. Once the Dream Mirrors in her Kingdom ran out she went in search of new ones. She became jealous of the people of the Moon Kingdom and Earth, and was sealed away by Serenity. Then, in the future, a rare Eclipse of the Sun allowed her to invade the Earth, with her followers, the Dead Moon Circus. Once on Earth she begain stealing Dream Mirrors, in search of the Pegasus. [her goal was to steal the Golden Crystal from Pegasus, so she could rule the world].

At the end of SuperS, to avoid being destroyed by SailorMoon she threw ChibiMoon over the edge of a cliff, causing SailorMoon to jump after ChibiMoon to rescue her. She sealed herself away in the mirror and was not seen again until Stars.

Stars: In the Stars series Nehelenia is reawoken by Galaxia. Galaxia tells her that SailorMoon is still alive, and convinces her to take revenge. Nehelenia does just that (during the very short Nehelenia Ark of Stars). She extracts her own Dream Mirror, which was made black by her evil, and smashes it into small peaces which float down to Earth, the shards landing in people's eyes (including Mamoru's). The shard made their victim become vain, and cruel, wanting to constantly look at their refelction. She also sends out the "Mirror Paredory", that look very similar to her, and they attack people. At the end of the Nehelenia ark, the Sailor Senshi are in Nehelenia's world. All the Senshi except SailorMoon have been captured by Nehelenia. SailorMoon offers to sacrifice herself to Nehelenia, if she will set the Senshi free. Nehelenia cannot kill any of them in the end, because she cannot stand their sympathetic eyes.

The Senshi then learn Nehelenia's story, and SailorMoon grants Nehelenia's wish, returning her to her kingdom, and allowing her to start over from when she was a child. The last we see of Nehelenia is her waking up in her kingdom, as a child and is told she has been dreaming. She then asks if someone will tell her a story, and walks off, to live her life over again, surrounded by friends.

Appearence: Zirconia is very old looking, and her skin is wrinkly, and has a purple hue to it. She wears a dark purple cloak, that has a dark black face on it. The face can speak and releays the messages of Nehelenia. Underneath the cloak Zirconia looks similar to a bug, or a scorpian, and does not have any flesh. Her face is mean looking, with drooping eyelids. She has anntenea like things coming out of her face, and wears something that looks like a white helment on her head. She carries a long staff on which Zircon sits, and also wears green colored braceletes.

Other: Zircon is Zirconia's "pet". It can usually be found sitting on the staff zirconia carries around, but it also has a job. Zircon flies around and spies on people, including the Trio and Quartet. It takes movies of what is going on, then returns back to Zirconia to give a "report".

Appearence: Fish Eye looks very much like a girl, and wears his hair in a pony tail. He wears a one piece blue outfit with picture of a fish skeleton on the front. He wears dangly earings, and high heels.

Other: Fish Eye is very feminine. He usual dresses like a girl, and talks like one, he even looks like a girl. Unlike the other members of the Trio Fish Eye does not choose female victims. He says that they are ugly. Fish Eye prefers male victims. Fish eye developes a crush on Mamoru, and tries to kiss him.

Appearence: Tigers Eye is flashy, and likes to wear furs in the manga. He dresses in a white top, with tiger stripped tight pants, and high black boots. His hair is orangy yellow, and he wears it down, sometimes with a bandana. He also wears earrings and a necklace.

Appearence: Hawks eye wears a purple scraf that wraps around him, and over one shoulder as a top. He also wears a skirtlike thing, orver purple tights. He wears purple high heels and sometimes brown gloves. His hair is spiky, and usualy ourple, although in somepictures it shown as red..

Other: PallaPalla often starts talking in third person, saying PallaPalla, instead of I. PallaPalla can be somewhat of a crybaby, but is also brave. Pallapalla has chopped off her dolls heads, because they had tooth aches. She had the idea to switch the Golden Crystal with a pineapple. She likes to play, and the only way Zirconia could get her to work was be saying it was a fun game.

Other: CereCere likes flowers, and is very concerned about her looks. She is sometimes snobby, and ill-tempered. Once, while having her picture painted she had a fit, because she said it didn't look like her, and that she was prettier, even though it looked exactly like her.

Other: JunJun is somewhat tomboyish, and is the only one of the Quartet who wears pants. She is very good at acrobatics. She often speaks in a "mannish" way. She is outgoing, and straitforward.
